Yamaha has released more information about Yamaha Design project AH A MAY to be launched at the Biennale Internationale Design Saint-Etienne 2015 on the 12th of March; Motorcycles designed by musical instrument designers, and musical instruments designed by motorcycle designers. Good to see a mainstream manufacturer trying to bring a breath of fresh air into motorcycle design.

The √ Root motorcycle is designed by Kazuki Kashiwase; A motorcycle stripped down to the essentials, even removing the dials, and placing them on a watch instead.

The 0±0 electric bike is designed by Jose Gonzalez and charges on the recharging stand; When you pedal it, the battery charges. The battery can be taken out of the stand and used to power musical instruments and other electric appliances. Do like the integrated controls on the handlebar.
